The mobile phone industry is a fast changing one. We started out with analog phones and now we have smart phones which basically do everything for us. Sony Ericsson recently launched the Sony Ericsson C905, the world's first 8.0 megapixel camera phone. Inspired by the Sony Cybershot product line, which was highly successful so the Sony Ericsson team decided to incorporate the cybershot's features in a mobile phone. Thus, the C905 was born.
The camera phone also provides face recognition of up to three people, autofocus, digital image stabilization and geotagging. The camera's viewfinder is a 2.4 inch QVGA screen which is scratch proof. The camera has both a camera and xenon flash. The Sony Ericsson C905 is capable of shooting images up to a maximum of 3264 x 2448 megapixels and you can zoom up to 16x.
The camera function is very user-friendly, with a long press on the camera shutter key, you can start the camera already and slide down the cover to expose the lens and you can now click away and take photos to your heart's content.
If you open the camera cover, all the features are revealed. There's the camera lens, xenon flash, mirror for self-portrait, video light and microphone for videos.
The Sony Ericsson C905 surely packs up a lot of punch in one flawlessly crafted package. This mobile phone will definitely give the other camera phones and digital cameras a run for their money.
